PRIVACY STATEMENT PURSUANT TO ITALIAN LEGISLATIVE DECREE 196/2003 –PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION CODE

pursuant to Article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (“Personal Data Protection Code“), we provide you with the Privacy Statement concerning the processing of your personal data by Vision Group S.p.A., with registered office in via Ripamonti 44, 20141, Milan (Italy), Tax Code and VAT No. 02231920998 (hereinafter the “Company”), collected through its website www.vision-group.it (the “Website“) in relation to the services offered by Company on its Website (hereafter the “Activity“).
The Company is aware of the importance of the protection of personal data and undertakes to observe the principles which ensure safe and controlled web browsing, considering that whenever a personal data is provided on internet, there is a risk that such data will be intercepted and misused by third parties so that it is not possible to guarantee the total security and protection of the personal data provided.
This Privacy Statement is updated periodically by the Company. The Company therefore invites its user to periodically check this Privacy Statement to be informed of any changes thereof.
- DATA CONTROLLER
The Company is the Data Controller in relation to the processing of the personal data you notified upon your registration or sign-up to its Website.
The only personal data that the Company collects through the Website, during your registration, is name, surname and e-mail address (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Data”).
Pursuant to Article 29 of the Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, the Company appoints the Quality Manager pro tempore of Vision Group S.p.A. as the internal Data Processor (the “Data Processor”).
Your Data will be processed by the Company as well as by the subject specifically appointed as “Data Processor”.
- PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
The Data are processed, including tools and procedures, for the following purposes:
- fulfilment of contractual and legislative obligations for the purpose of carrying out the requested Activity;
- fulfillment of obligations under European Union law and regulations;
- to respond to user requests and queries as well as sent to the customer service and, more generally, to execute specific user requests.
Data are mandatorily required for the fulfilment of the aforementioned purposes. If such data are not provided, or are partially or inaccurately provided, the Activity you requested may not be provided.
Work with us: the Data collected through the filled in “work with us” form (name, surname, email address, and any reference message/letter) will be processed only for the purpose of analysing the candidate’s profile and for any subsequent interview. In order to reply to the candidate’s application it is necessary that such Data are provided: consequently, failing to notify any Data will not allow the Company to examine the candidate’s professional qualifications and to consider any collaboration.
- PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING METHODS
Data will be processed by means of manual and IT methods by Company employees and collaborators and/or by external subjects duly designated as data processors and persons tasked with data processing, to whom the Company gave detailed operating instructions with special reference to the adoption of the minimum security measures envisaged by the Privacy Code. The Data will be preserved at the Company’s premises and at the optical centres owned by the Company for the time necessary for the purposes for which the Data were collected and in accordance with the applicable law.
The Company undertakes to collect and process the Data in accordance with the applicable law in order to protect the confidentiality, integrity, completeness and availability of the personal data and to minimize the risks of cancellation, destruction, loss, alteration (even incidental), unauthorized access, unauthorized or non-compliant processing of data, illegal or incorrect use of the data, illegal disclosure.
In no event the Company shall be considered liable for any inaccurate information sent by the user, as well as information concerning the user provided by third parties, even fraudulently, nor any liability may be charged to the Company for any consequence that may arise.
The Company shall not be considered liable for any damage caused directly or indirectly by using the Website.
- DATA PROCESSING CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
Your Data will be processed by subjects (even outsourcers) who have been designated as data processors or persons tasked with data processing and have received in this respect adequate operating instructions, with special reference to the adoption of minimum security measures, for the purposes of ensuring Data confidentiality and security.
The notified Data shall not be disseminated, but may be notified to third parties belonging the following categories – for the same purposes for which they are collected –:
- subjects providing Company IT and telecom networks management services;
- subjects carrying out control, review and certification of the activities implemented by the Company, even in your interest;
- advisors or other subjects providing services related to the delivery of the service in question.

- WHICH ARE YOUR RIGHTS?
You may ask the Company about how to enforce the rights of the persons concerned as envisaged by Article 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/03, by sending a communication directly to the Company at the following address: via Ripamonti 44, 20141, Milan (italy), or by telephone to the following number +39 02 92885300, or by sending an email to privacy@vision-group-it.
In particular, you will be entitled: (I) to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of your personal data and their communication in an intelligible form; (II) to know the Data origin, the purposes and methods of data processing as well as the rationale of data processing made by electronic tools; (III) to request the update, amendment or – if you are interested – the integration of your personal data; (IV) to request the erasure, conversion into anonymous form or blocking of data when processed unlawfully, as well as to object to their processing for legitimate reasons; (V) to object to any processing finalized to the circulation of advertising material, direct sales, market surveys and marketing communications.
- LINKS AND OTHER WEBSITES
This Privacy Statement solely refers to the Website.
In particular, the Website contain links to websites of third parties, for which the Company does not exercise any control. Therefore, the Company shall not be liable in any way whatsoever for any personal data processing made by such third parties.
