Two professionals with strong ties to the profession inspired by their father: so begins the story of the Olbia optical centre, opened in 1990, which recently chose VisionOttica, the glocal banner that stands out for professionalism, proximity and listening to improve the wellbeing of its customers.
The shop is located in Via Aldo Moro, in a key shopping area of the Sardinian capital. Susy, the owner, says «Over the years, the optical centre has moved a few house numbers, from 122 to 126, and has been enlarged from 80 to 100 square metres,” she adds. “It also has the particularity of having a corner shop window, which externally is further forward than those of the other businesses, so it is very visible and easily recognisable».
The move to VisionOttica came naturally. «Initially we were part of Vision Is and, following the merger, it was natural for us to choose Vision Group, as it allows us to maintain our own identity while being part of a group that supports the optical centre on a daily basis, both from the marketing point of view, taking part in campaigns, and the constant contact with the customer thanks to the after-sales service,» says the Sardinian professional.
So last September saw the important step as VisionOttica Fancello also opened its doors to two new family members, her grandchildren Andrea Serra and Elena Fancello. Susy therefore takes stock of these months with the new banner, «Being in Olbia, in summer we register an increase due to the greater influx, but ours is not a purely tourist business,» she explains. «Basically, the customers are locals, so we aim for an even more attentive quality service, thanks also to the services offered by VisionOttica, such as the Sos-Service for safe glasses, which makes customers feel pampered even after the purchase».
